Ed Crenshaw from Carlsbad, New Mexico was the breeder of some of the most outstanding winning pit dogs of the era. Renowned dogs like Crenshaw's "Colby Rusty" and "Diablo Rojo" (Old Rex). Crenshaw's "Leprechaun", and her daughters "Little Leprechaun" and "Goose"; all three winning at the same convention. Ed Crenshaw also produced the famed Freddie Jones' Champion "Major" and Grand Champion "Gimp" (aka Leo Kinard's Champion "Hawkshaw")
