Norman H. Hooten

The story of legendary lawman and dogman. The owner of the famous four-time winner Hooten's Champion "Butch Boy", Hooten's "Missy" (aka Carver's "One Eye"), and Hooten's "Black Jack" (aka Wood's "Trouble", the sire to Garner's Champion "Chinaman"). Over the years Norman Hooten was friends with some of the most famous dogmen like Frank Fritzwater, Weldon Stockton, and Maurice Carver from the mid 1960's through the 1990's. Norman Hooten remained dedicated to the breed and to the sport throughout his life.
